Villa San Juliette is a distinguished wine brand from the Estrella District in Paso Robles, California, specializing in Bordeaux and Rhône-style wines. The project features four custom illustrations with integrated gold foil highlights, embodying the villa's beauty and charm. Additional designs were crafted for the flagship "Romantique" wine and a silkscreened Port-style "Jules." The scope includes a brand redesign and label/package update.

A brand redefined

Villa San Juliette approached us with a bold intention: to evolve a beloved Paso Robles estate into a brand that feels as elevated and welcoming as the property itself. Their original oak-based label had served them well, but as the region grew and many wineries embraced similar imagery, it became clear that the identity needed to rise beyond the familiar “Valley of the Oaks” story. With the completion of their stunning hospitality center — a place that guests consistently described as warm, romantic, and unforgettable — the opportunity emerged to root the brand in a new sense of place.

We began by immersing ourselves in the estate, studying its architecture, its textures, and the emotional feeling of arriving at the villa. Rather than lean on regional symbolism, we chose to honor the destination itself. Viktorija illustrated four architectural perspectives of the villa by hand, each one capturing a different angle. These illustrations became the heart of the label, printed through a delicate four-color process and elevated with gold foil, giving the artwork dimension, warmth, and a quiet sense of luxury.

From there, we built a collection that feels collected and expressive, each varietal creating a visual journey through the estate’s story. Typography remains gentle and refined, framing the artwork rather than competing with it. The result is a thoughtful, hospitality-driven identity.

The redesign extended across the full portfolio. Romantique, the flagship wine, was given a minimalist, graceful expression to reflect its premium positioning. “Jules,” the Port-style wine, received a silkscreen bottle inspired by the estate’s grand chandelier — a nod to both tradition and indulgence.

Since the release, Villa San Juliette has seen a meaningful lift in estate sales, wine-club enrollment, and guest response. Visitors recognize the villa instantly on the bottle; members connect deeply with the sense of place; and the brand now lives as a true reflection of the warmth and beauty people experience on the property. The redesign has become more than packaging — it has become a bridge between the estate and the glass.
