Nestled in Paso Robles’ revered Willow Creek District, Decemil Estate Wines is a five-acre micro-estate devoted to Rhône varietals. Rooted in organic and regenerative farming, their wines express the purity of the land and the precision of 10,000 vines shaped by limestone, slope, and symmetry. Every bottle reflects a pursuit of balance — between nature’s design and human intention.

Cultivate Symmetry

10,000 Vines, One Mark of Purpose. Decemil’s identity began with a singular idea: ten thousand vines, meticulously planted across their estate. The brand needed to convey that commitment through form, structure, and restraint.

The name “Decemil” and its symbolic X+line reference the 10,000 vines that define the site. We elevated that mark to become the hero of the labels. Bold, elemental, and unmistakable. The X is executed in sculpted embossing, catching light and shadow to create a tactile sense of depth and growth. Metallic foils introduce variation and hierarchy, signaling style and specificity without sacrificing simplicity: gold for single varietals, silver for blends, and a soft rose tone for rosé.

Typography is intentionally unconventional. Instead of a traditional center-locked structure, information is aligned vertically along the edges, reinforcing the estate’s dedication to discipline, rhythm, and precision. Minimal text, strong linework, and ample negative space allow the mark to breathe, creating a sense of quiet power and intentional restraint.

Every element — from material choice to layout behavior — was designed to mirror the estate’s ethos: small scale, big vision, and a belief that purity and precision can be both striking and subtle.

Digital Precision

Objective

To craft a digital presence that embodies Decemil’s philosophy of precision and geometric authenticity; a terroir-driven story told through modern refinement. Our goal was to elevate a start-up winery into the high-end realm it deserves, positioning the brand alongside Paso Robles’ most distinctive Rhône producers while preserving its intimate, artisanal spirit.

Solution

We designed a visual and narrative system rooted in symmetry and contrast: structured grids, generous negative space, and photography that celebrates texture and terrain. The brand identity and labels draw inspiration from geological rhythm and vineyard geometry, translating the estate’s physical harmony into design form. A calm, cinematic website flow — accented by nuanced motion and elegant typography — mirrors the balance of the wines themselves; deliberate, detailed, extraordinary.

Mobile Experience

On mobile, Decemil’s design focuses on pace and clarity. We restructured long-form storytelling into smooth vertical sequences, optimized image loading for vineyard photography, and preserved the brand’s cinematic tone through subtle animations. The result is an experience that retains its elegance and depth even in the palm of your hand.
